We had a great time at Kennywood on Tuesday. We had to tell Marissa where we were going because she wouldn't get out of bed, thinking it was to a baseball game. So when we told her she shot out of bed and and got dressed quickly.

SHHHH!!!!!
Tomorrow we are taking the kids to Kennywood Park, but we haven't told them. We've only told them that we have a surprise and they assumed it would be to a baseball game. Marissa is soooo NOT excited because she hates baseball games. Dylan's excited because he likes baseball games and can't wait to see the Pirogie Race and the Pirate's Parrot (mascot).

Happy Father's Day
Today was Father's Day and Larry had to do some computer work at the golf course and work in the pro shop. So we (me, Larry, the kids, PeePaw & Pop-Pop) went out early for lunch (where the picture was taken) before he had to go in.
Afterwards the kids cleaned up their toys some and then played outside and in the pool. It was a fun day, even though "daddy" wasn't here for most of it.

Fireworks Sissy
That's what Dylan said to me and Marissa the other night while we laid in bed reading. Marissa was reading pages of Fancy Nancy goes to the Museum to us and Dylan stopped her by saying "Fireworks Sissy".
Well we looked at him in suprise because Dylan is deathly afraid of fireworks, any load noises really and until last year so was Marissa. As a matter of fact, when he goes to the Pirates games my father-in-law makes sure the tickets aren't for Superblast nights or any other firework nights and both Larry & John hope that the Pirates don't score any homeruns because when they do, there are fireworks and then Dylan gets hysterical and wants to leave. Pretty pitiful, that you have to go to a ballgame hoping your team DOESN'T do well.
Anyway, back to the other night, so we looked at Dylan and he started farting and he said "See, Fireworks"
